Hi sorry if this question was asked before i could not find it. my sister moved my xbox 360 while I was playing soul calibur 4 and now the disc has scratch rings all over it. the xbox 360 does not even start the game. sometimes it recognizes that is soul calibur 4 and other times it just says that the disk cannont be read. I did not install the game before this happened, but im thinking on renting the game and install from the rented copy but would my original work as a security bypasser even if it does not even start.

give it a shot. depends where the scratch is and how the 360 checks the disc.

go to blockbuster and rent the game. download it and then take it back that day and trade it in for another game or a movie.

worse case... it doesn't work.

True im screwed anyways hopefully it works i dont want to dish out another 60 bucks for the game. Thanks for the fast response

This happened to my Marvel Ultimate Alliance game,it would hang up in one spot. So I downloaded it to my hard drive and the game would play. I would suggest trying and see if it would work.
