restore backup not working help please

I have an external hdd that has the backed up info from the original hdd. I have the new hdd installed. Once the format and system update is good I go to restore backup (which is on the(external) it gets to about 12% and this comes out.

"the restore operation could not be completed. the system will restart. (80028ff0)"

any ideal what I am doing wrong please help.

Mine did the same thing only at @50%

can comeone please help us with this? We have both searched on the net and we know people have this same issue with the same code but i have yet to find a solution. I have tried re doing a backup from the original hdd and same crap results
