WiiKey with the switch installed please help

I have been searching all night to try to find my answer but couldn't find it. Was hoping someone could help me out.

I have a WiiKey that I installed I think about a year ago, but I installed it with the switch. The WiiKey came with this switch, but I can find the old instructions anywhere.
Does any one remember this? All the ones I see now have no switch.

I have been trying to update it to the latest WiiKey 1.9s firmware, but I get the error: Test Failed, check your connections and try again.
I forgot to mention that the switch I installed in the back has a prog and run position.
It will not read the disk at all when I have it in the prog position.
Does anyone know how this switch is supposed to work, and what position it should be in?
Can anyone help with this?
BTW, My Wii has the 3.3u update on it.

I've never seen or heard of a Wiikey with a switch.

Are you SURE it's a Wiikey?

There are other Modchips (not a Wiikey) that have switches on them.

You're absolutely right.
After digging all freaking night I realized I have a cyclowiz.
I just downloaded the lastest 3.6 that I could find, but I think I might start with 3.5 off thier site just in case and see if that works.

I'm going to attempt to upgrade to the 3.5 when i get home. I'm assuming that I just put the switch in Program mode?
