Snes-station does not see roms in usb [revised]

Hi, sorry for reposting.
Anyways, heres ma story. I have Freemcboot on my memory card, along with ESR, SMS, UlaunchElf, and some of the other programs on the memory card. So My problem is with Snes-Station. I can load up Snes-Station perfectly, but I do not see any of the roms there. All I see when I start Snes-Station, is four folders 1)cd 2)usb 3)mc0 4)mc1...(i think thats what the folders say). Anyways I can move up and down, but when i press "x" nothing happens. I even put my rom files in a folder titled "roms" in the usb flash drive but still no use. Keep in mind that snes_emu.elf is installed on my usb. I downloaded it from sksapps.com and it says that the version is specifically for usb drives. I also formatted my usb to fat32. Still no use. So now im thinking I will never get the roms to be visible in snes-station, so now Im just either looking for some help with this method, or another means of getting it to work. (please i really dont want to have to buy a swap magic or anything like that. i already have ARmax(not evo) and i got the exploit already on the memory card). Is there a way i can get it to show. Please any help would Really be appreciated.
ps the guys at expliostation were real assholes , and very very rude. I dont know why. (the people were the moderators and junior members of the site, so thats really bad, so u probably dont want to go there , i mean comeon if the moderators are rude as hell then the website isnt really a good place to go to, and the peopple were :dark angel, bakuretsu, andbootlegninja(or something like that) and one of the other global moderators.)

Stellar stuff. Shows that you can't have the intelligence to rise above grade school behavior. All I really asked for originally (though I could have been a small bit nicer about it was that you actually provide detail on your setup. (IE: ps2 version, software installed, steps taken to arrive where you were on your problem.) And as always I do not read minds. But you can read this. Stop using a computer. Do society a favor and crawl back in to the cave you came from. seclude yourself form society. and most of all please do not breed. This world doesn't need more stupid people such as yourself. And I am glad that you decided to delete your own account at that site. Because I was about to petition the staff there to ban you anyways. Exploitstation is a great site with good people. Ok I am going to ignore the post below you as there was no need for it.
There also was no need for your comment above about another site.
But anyway, try using this SNES for USB, it may be the same one you downloaded I am not sure

Then put all our roms inside separate folders like this. The reason I do this, is because I have lots of roms, and it makes it easier to load.
And then have all of those folders inside a folder named ROMS
Now to be sure your USB is compatible, open uLaunch.elf first and go to MASS:/ and see if you can see the contents.

Ok I named the file "ROMS" (is it in caps for a reason?). Anyways maybe I should have pointed out the fact that I have FreeMCBoot 1.8. I also never ran the configurator. Is that what the problem is? Anyways I have the exploit on my memory card, and Im using it on a slim ps2. I still dont see the roms. My usb must definitely be compatible because I run snes_emu.elf off of it. So is there some certain button conifguration i dont know about with snes station? Every time I press x at the home screen of snes station, it gets stuck and i can no longer move up or down. . Once again thanks for the help.

Could it also be the version of ulaunchelf that i have. at the beggining of lauching ulaunchelf at the top it alwsays says "failed to load Launchelf.cnf" and at the top right it says Launchelf v4.30. So could it be toe version number of Launchelf for the version of freemcboot? sorry once again I am so new at this. Another thing is that when i press square for the options and then go down to exit in snes station, i press x to exit and it freezes again (sound ceeps playing though), and i am unable to do anything else. thanks alot in advance

It shouldn't matter if the "roms" are in caps or not. I think I just do it that way.
You probably should just run the configurator once to make sure the settings are the way you want.
It explains it well at the bottom of the fmcb 1.8 tutorial.
As for ule and saying "Failed to load Launchelf.cnf, you need to configure it also. uLe 4.30 is a good version to use.

Now are your roms unzipped inside the folder "roms" so they are just the "xxxx.smc" where xxxx is the name
Have you tried putting the SNES_EMU_USB.ELF on your mc, then launching it from there, just to see if works that way better.
Like I say that particular usb drive may not be compatible. Do you have another one you can try.

First and foremost let me say thanks for helping me. I really appreciate this even if it doesnt work lol. Anyways what I am going to do is try running the configurator, and fixing the "failed to load launchelf.cnf" or whatever that thng is called. As for the roms they are unzipped. and they are in the forM YOU DESCRIBED BELOW. I have a kingston usb drive that did not work, and a memorex that did not work. I have already formatted to fat32. I have one more try at this as i have another usb drive. I also tried on a mp3 player that was formatted as fat32 by default and it still didnt work. I will get on this as soon as i can. Also snes_emu.elf is actually being booted from my usb drive. (i thought maybe that was a mix up with you). alrite thanks agin . appreciate this very much.

No I heard you that snes_emu.elf works from your usb drive.
I just wanted to check and make sure your roms are unzipped.
I do know it could take some time for them to load when they are in the "rom" folder and could cause problem.
That is why I made subfolders inside the rom folder
Or you could just try putting a few roms on the usb and see if that will work.

ok so now i can see the roms alrite., it was the matter of the usb. its just that ther other ones didnt work. and now this one does. its a lexmark, so now i can see the actuall roms, but now how do i launch them. everytime i press x on the rom i want to play it doesnt work. is it that some roms work and some dont. thanks once again. (the rom i tried to load was super mario bros allstars + supermario worl)

Super Mario World works fine for me. It could just be a bad rom.

I remember I had to search around before I found ones that worked.
Try finding another copy of it.

thanks again, you know what it was, i was expecting them to load up instantly, thats why. i gavbge it a sec this time and it worked. I will finally be making an all out image up and video of how to do all of this and post the tutorial here. THanks alot guys i really appreciate your help.

Not a problem, glad you got it working. And your title alone will help people searching for the same issue in the future.
If you make a tutorial, thats great too.
A lot of the issue sometimes is finding the right USB device.
They make them all high speed anymore, but the PS2 is only 1.1 so its hard to find totally compatible ones.
Like in your case it loaded the snes.elf but wouldn't see the "roms"
And yes the patience sometimes for things to load. It's like having a fast computer, and clicking on something once you expect it too load right away, but not always does that happen.
