I encountered something qiute odd while backing up the movie Boondock Saints. I used AutoShrinkISO with DVD Shrink, and I found out that the actual movie 'title' was only 2500MB long! Now, I think this is odd because 1. the movie is around 100 minutes long, 2. the picture quality of the original DVD is relatively good, & 3. it's encoded in 5.1 surround. Now go backup any other number of 100 min. (+/- a few min's)movies with 5.1 surround and they take up a whole dvdr. Why is that? Did the producer of the Boondock dvd used some awesome encoder (?)and if he did then why can't all dvd producers use that encoder. I mean DVD Shrink didn't end up doing anything besides ripping the movie.
