i got it all hooked up and installed the PortIO32 drivers. but when i go into jungleflasher or any other ck3tool the drive doesnt show up under any port. i have it hooked up to my serial port but i dont know what to do. im asking here cause xectuer forums arent registering now. so if anyone could help thatd be great thankssss

only thing I would recommend, it start from the bottom of the list and work your way up. Worst case, try using dosflash 1.7 and see if that can see it.

well i was stupid and the sata cable wasnt in the comp all the way.

anyway now im getting a 00000000000000 when i try to dump the key

just keep trying to dump. make sure you have all drivers installed. Worst case, try dosflash 1.7

i have not done liteon yet, but from what i read if you get 00000000 as dvd key, then i think it has to do with the drive tray not being open in the right position, half way i believe.

alright i got it!!!! messed it up with jungleflasher when i tried to erase it. thank god i got it to work in dos. erased it then dosflash the new firmware.

easy as pie when you know what your doing
