I just bought an used xbox with a manufactured date of 2007-08-08. Could it still get RROD?

You could get the rrod whenever, no xbox is rrod proof. If you get the rrod and your seal is intact then ms will service your xbox for free.

If you want me to go into more detail...you probably have a falcon board. It has a 65nm cpu and a 90nm gpu. It runs off a 175 watt power supply. These boards typically have problems with the ram comming off the board. There's not too many cases of rrod, just more graphic errors and console freezing than anything. Either way you should be covered under ms's warranty.
