Animal Crossing Pal on NTSC wii. semi brick help!

ok so i stupidly, without remembering what region it was, put in animal crossing into my ntsc wii. turns out it was a pal game and it updated. So now, i'm assuming that i have the latest firmware but in pal instead of ntsc. i've tried several different semi-brick rix discs and they wont even read in my wii. i have an original wiikey with 1.9g firmware on it. i can still play backups fine but cannot access my settings. i have internet enabled and have the homebrew channel as well. Is there hope or am i screwed until a new update comes along??

Well luckily for you animal crossing only contains 3.3. Since 3.4 is already out its just a matter of finding a game that contains it. I dont know of any games that do yet though.

If you want you can also try the region changer. It should be able to reset the whole console back to NTSC at whatever firmware level you want.
