I am converting DVDs to MP4's so that I can play them on my ipod,ps3 stream them to my xbox 360 and ps3 to me it seemed like a no brainer (open to alternatives).

Problem I am currently using DVDFAB Platinum and currently converting The Wire Season 1-5 and every episode audio is out of sync with occasional popping noise. Is there any solution for that or alternative software. I was using Nero Recode but it now crashes on me every time I tell it to start converting.

Aspect Ratio 2.25
Bitrate 768
Encoding Fast encoding (1-pass)
Framerate 29.97fps
Audio 64kbps
