Hi All,

I've followed this guide religously, and actually went out and purchased the datel service tool.

I tried creating the magic memory stick via a usb card reader on windows vista, then read up that it may cause problems so made it again using windows xp and the usb card reader. (Can't find the USB Cable atm)

So I've completed the MMS and converted the battery to the service mode. the PSP turns on auto like it says in the guide, and the screen remains blank.

I'm kind of at a loss, andy help would be greatly appreciated.

MMS Cap = 4GB and I used the format via the easy installer. I did thid via a Card Reader not the USB cable. will this cause the blank screen issue?
