DVD video problems - Modbo 4.0 on PS2 Slimline SCPH-90002

I recently installed the Modbo 4.0 modchip into my PS2 slim model, SCPH-90002.

When I try playing DVD games it works fine, but when I try playing a DVD video that I bought from the shops it brings up this screen:




When I press Enter it goes away for a second then comes back again. It doesn't seem to read the DVD. Does anyone know a fix for this?
