i have a PSP-1001
TA-82 (did research on this to find out hwat my PSP was)


Okay first my PSP started out as a 3.8 OFFICAL FIRMWARE..then I used this GUIDE right here i dont know if you guys are familiar with this guide

But thats what I used...then i manage to downgrade it to 1.5 but I later tried to restore the battery back to normal by using the NAND-DUMP restore..not sure if thats how you do it if you wanna do it softmod way....My impatiences got to me and then I took out the pandora battery and memory stick and tried to redo the downgrade to 1.5 in hoping that the battery would change through softmod...but then it bricked my PSP..even as many times as i tried with the memory stick and pandora battery..I was soo angry then I took one of my brother's PSP to read MY MAGIC MEMORY STICK...so then 3 hours past within doing research in hopes of finding a solution..then i manage to find someway to fix the unbricking but its not 1.5 like I wanted....I downloaded the 2.0 firmware and then renamed it as UPDATE.PBP and I then replaced it in my magic memory stick over the previous UPDATE.PBP (which was 1.5 firmware) through my brother's psp...Strangly I found out that you can replace any OFFICIAL FIRMWARE UPDATE in the magic memory stick as long as you rename it as UPDATE.PBP..the other firmwares work except 1.5....2.0 unbricked my PSP....So i tried using the "TIFF" exploit i found on youtube...it faked my PSP to a 1.00 but i couldn't use the 1.5 update because it says something about the 8000025 error...So i was screwed...so i tried downloading a different official firmware and replaced it in the memory stick right after i reformatted it..still the same 8000025...so then i got really really pissed off and then i downloaded 2.71 and then changed it to UPDATE.PBP so i could put it on my magic memory stick..I then manage to update it to 2.71 in hopes of using the "2.71-1.5 HEND" to fix my troubles....but then the 8000148 came up when i try to run the UPDATE X-HY-something (forgot what it was called)...and still nothing....its been 5 days ive been trying to get it to 1.5 and I WILL NOT GIVE UP!!!

1.5 isn't even worth it; custom firmware is way better.

forget everything you did. use that guide to make the MMS. if you still have pandora's battery, check the memory stick if you still have the eeprom and copy it to your computer, so you can return it back to normal.
