Playing backups with a fw mod??

I was just wondering if there was any fw mod for ps2 that one could play backups on it. Like when people flash thier xboxs so they can play backups?

I am not quite sure what the xbox does, but there is an memory card install that lets you play backups just as if you had a modchip in the ps2.

It is called fmcb 1.8
One is able to view programs right from the Sony Browser once its installed, and launch any program they installed.
