Hi,

have you tried ripping only to the hard drive with the latest anydvd ? Set the devices to slow and quiet. Usually works.

Please retry with the latest Anydvd ripper alone to the hard drive with the devices set to slow and quiet.
Dvd decrypter has not been updated for 4 years.

Ok Bryston. I have tried decrypting it like you told me with latest version of anydvd 6.5.1.1 and still nothing. It stops at 23% and gives me a read error. The dvd is not scretched. Anything else I can try?

I was able to rip Babylon AD with dvdfab 5222 and 5226. It came out great. I thought there was already a thread dedicated to Babylon AD.

I'm going towards a defective DVD. I'm going to exchange it today for a new one and will repost as soon as I try backingup the new disc. I don't think it's any of my software. I have DvdFab HD Decrypter V.5.2.3.0. I have fait in this software. I will exchange it.

Good :)

RTM has backed it up with dvdfab, so it is most likely your disc and not the software.

I'm watching it right now and it plays great. I have the 2-sided disk and ripped the unrated version.

Success guys!!! I exchanged the disc for a new one, ripped it with dvdfab decrypter and backed up with Clonedvd. Recorded with clonedvd and backup looks great. Thanks for the advice. I guess it was the Dvd. Thanks for the info Bryson and rtm27.

Both sides successfully backed up using the latest full releases of AnyDVD and CloneDVD. That's both the Theatrical and Unrated version. No compression was even necessary for the unrated side.
