hi, before anyone jumps on me i have been looking through threads :) but some info is confusing me... i was trying to put donkey kong onto my sons psp... there are quite a few files in the folder i have... including an eboot.pbp but i do not see a key file???? there is a file called gba_bios.bin and 3 other folders...

on some threads i have noticed people talking about putting a key file in with the eboot... do i need that file?? can an eboot.pbp work on it's own?? do i need an emulator... i did even try to copy the whole folder to the psp under games but it still didn't work

any help would be great

Quite a confusing question but here goes:
What Donkey Kong is it?, if it is for another system(n64, snes), you will need an emulator. I'm guessing the game is originally for gba but not sure. An eboot file can be described as an executable for psp. The folder containing the eboot is simply copied to ms0:/PSP/GAME. You need to have the eboot in a folder! It sounds to me like it is an emulator you have...can you give the address where you downloaded?

Donkey Kong is an old school game Poggie :) Emulator would be the deal though which one to play this I don't know.

I know binkie:) Just what system it is for is the question, he mentioned a file called gba_bios.bin so I guess gameboy advance...

Hi and thanks for the help... still didn't get the donkey kong working .. here is the link i got it from..

by the way my sons psp is not a slim... does that matter??

i did get a few eboot games working though... but most just don't seem to work... can anyone tell me what the keys.bin is for?? if so where do i put it... not even sure if i only need it in the psp once or every folder i put a eboot game into... the main reason i was so stuck on the donkey kong is it has so many files and folders but nothing to explain which ones to use or how...
