Have had a flashed 360 for a while now, but only really used it as a media center.
I have a mixture of orginal games and backups and until recently all have worked ok.
I started using it a little more for games and it was struggling reading any, backups or orginals. It was a case of insert disc, eject drive, close drive, eject drive, close drive and mostly 6 or so times and the disc would load.
As it was on originals too I assumed laser (rightly or wrongly I dont know). I bought one on-line, stripped the XBOX and drive, replaced laser and put back together. It was all easy enough, or so I thought.
Now the discs just will not spin, at all, no attempt is made by the drive.
Coincidence? Was the motor bad too? Or have I done something while tinkering?
Any ideas will be appreciated guys before I decide to simply replace the drive, which probably would have been easier lol.
