Ok i have a memorex dvd+r dl and img burn doesn't let me burn it
iv'e tried multiple times each time getting multiple error messages
the first time i got a disc write error
the second time it couldn't finalize disc and
the third time it wasn't able to detect optimal power calibration

who knows... do you have another DVD burner you can try ??
people will blame the memorex media cause that is the most obvious answer BUT you shouldn't be getting those errors no matter what brand media you are using ...
if you don't have another burner to try perhaps try to firmware upgrade your current burner
