I have an old Swap Magic 2.0 DVD boot disk that i have always used to play games. When i play the disk it shows the PS2 logo fine then jumps right back to the Browser! Almost like its been patched by sony. My questions is this: Do you think its to scratched to work for some reason or is there somthing wrong with my PS2? This is my first time using it in about 7 months. My ps2 makes no noise like its trying to load the boot screen ether (you know the noise of the laser hiccuping)... so im really confused here. Ay help very appreciated

It could very well be that it has just seen its day.

Or if your having problems with any of your Original DVD disks, then the laser may need cleaning.

If that doesn't work you could upgrade your SM 2.0 to SM 3.8 coder

I have never known any one to actually do this, but it does say so on their site, and the link goes to the link below.

thanks for the reply.

My ps2 plays games normal games just fine. just seems weird that it stops working. the disk is very scratched but it always has been scratched heh...
