ok let me first say that i looked for about an hour on afterdawn for an answer nothing definitive and if there is a place where i can pointed to that also would be appreaciated but i need refined answers.

here is my problem i get the Movie to the hard drive using DVDfab mostly and anydvd with dvd decrypter without problems and from this point i could use nero and burn it without problems but i like to get rid of certain trailers and warnings and my chosen program is Vobblanker and most of the time i can do this without problem but sometimes i get a message i am sure everyone has seen before Yada yada yada INTERLEAVED cells and it wants to skip the main movie file or you will get pauses. so is there any way to remove warnings and trailers without effecting the main movie then being able to burn it weather it be other program or a differnt way to rip the movie to my HD or different setting with Vobblanker. Thank you for any help

Hi,

in using vob blanker, process all files. Do not use the skip function, but blank out the unwanted cells/files instead. Then all should go smoothly.

i don't know if i explained what i was trying to ask but i said all is well but when i get the message saying Vobblanker has problems with INTERLEAVED CELLS ANS SUGGEST TO SKIP OR YOU WILL GET PAUSES usaslly the main movie and so you really can't continue unless you want to blank the movie, i was looking for some way around this.

Hi again,

my friend sees this message alot. He says just to process (not skip) the interleaved files and then blank out the unwanted elements. The movie will play just fine.

Hope this helps.

Question, the movie pauses (from scene to scene, and if so how long is the pause ?), or do you see a pause when you change sections as from going from the menu to the actual movie itself ?

No, no no,

it is most likely as you say, I am missing something. I just really do not understand your problem,as a friend of mine uses the exact process you are using, and his back ups work just fine.
So could you please repeat exactly what your problem(s) are (and your processss) ?

Thanks so much,

Jo

Been using VobBlanker to delete/blank useless junks (unwanted trailers, warnings, extras, etc.) for ages and I've never seen any "pauses" on/in the main movie of any of my backups.

let me first say that i have been reading the forums for well over 5yrs with limited internet access and i respect what you have to say alkohol i have a few questions about what you said, you said MAIN MOVIE so does that mean that you have pauses in anywhere on the dvd like the menu or extras such as deleted scenes. also have you seen this screen with the warning about small pauses and suggesting that you skip the main movie file?
