JAP Wii not reading DVD-R's

Hi can anyone help me, i have a jap Wii with a wiikey, which was working fine, then it was turned off for a few weeks, i tried all my dvd-r games but none of them worked, tried to load up a padded config & wiikey update, but they could not be read, so i done a Wii update online to 3.4J, then i did the wiikey.1.9s jap(same disc as before update), & it loaded, then i did the cfg.1.9s jap & that worked, i restarted the Wii, put in a few games & they all worked, played Wii for about an hour all ok,shut down Wii but left on standby, next day, turned Wii back on put in the game we were last playing (samba di amigo) & it didn't work(the ? screen came up), so i tried most of my games(various DVD-R's), none worked, tried the wiikey update & config disc's again they didn't work just got the ? screen, i even tried a gamecube DVD-r game, that could not be read, does anyone know what has happened to my Wii??, hope someone can help, John

Sounds like something is wrong with your wiikey. I'd try the recovery disk, but if that dosent work you might need to get a new modchip.
