ok, so i wanted more maps for my halo game, so i downloaded something that gave me all of these .map files. I have absolutely no idea what to do with them. Can someone help?

those files can be edited with a program a coder made, but you have to have a way to get them back onto your hard drive. oh and btw log onto xbl with that map on your hardrive and dont expect to get to play halo 3 online, you will be banned instantly.

what's the worst that can happen if i just do system link? or if i do go on xbox live, can i just not load up the maps? Also, will a usb work, or do i need to transfer them over in a special way?

you have to have a special too to transfer files, plus you need to know a little bit about hex editing, and you could do a system link, but the other system would need the maps as well, go on xbl and your gamertag will be banned from bungie and all of their games.
