I'm sure that this is all getting really tiring. I've been working on this all night and it is really frustrating. I have succesfully installed homebrew. My wii version is 3.4U. I have tried many different downloads of the wad manager and backup launcher with no success. It says error downloading ticket or in some cases title. A different error number appears with each download i try. I even watched a video on youtube on how to do it and still no success. I tried the downgrade but the download i found needs wad manager in order to load and therefore won't downgrade me. I am obviously doing something wrong. I know that it may be the version I have but I cannot find a way to downgrade. I know that there are probably other threads with this info but in my searches I have not found help. Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you've installed the homebrew channel the next step is installing IOS16, which is the only wad you'll be able to install on a virgin 3.4 wii. Once IOS16 is installed, you should be able to install the cIOS that will allow the backup loader. No downgrade required.

Ok, that installed! Now, at the risk of sounding stupid, where do I go from here? I went to cIOS Installer. That failed. Then I went to Backup Launcher and tried a game. It said no cIOS installed. I know that its possible I have the game burned wrong which is a bridge I will come to once I know I'm doing this right.


But is it possible I just have the wrong download to begin with?? As I said before I went through many different ones and this is just the latest of those.

You could also try one of the other wad installer versions to install the cIOS.
