Hi there, I hope someone can help, I've just downloaded the avi2dvd software, I'm trying to convert a mkv file to avi but it insists that it needs audio. It tells me that I must select an audiostream to convert but there are no options in the three boxes.

Thanks in advance.
Rename your file to one name and put it in C:. C:/Mymovie.mkv.
As far as I can see, you can't convert MKV to AVI using this software (hence the name "avi2dvd"). If you want to do this you'll have to look around for an alternative programme. So far I haven't come across anything that's free. If anyone does I'd be interested to know.

AlltoAvi will do the job also(hence the name, "AlltoAVi", and it's free). Avidemux will probably work also.
