I mostly use Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden. But if I had my preference, Taiyo Yuden would win everytime.

You'd need to do a search & see if any scientific research has been done to find the "best" everything else is hear say, just for the record everyone says verb's from singapore or taiyo :p

Hands down Taiyo Yuden - I've used them for years. 2nd would be Verbatim.

I'll agree that Tayio Yuden is the best single layer disc out there with Singapore Verbatin running a close 2nd. Beyond that I've had good luck with 16x Prodisc & 16x Ritek too although TY & Verb are my first choices.

They are? Which ones? I haven't seen TY made Verbs here in the US...

TYs are not rebranded as Verbs in the U.S. Maybe Creaky can hook you up with some from UK.

Thanks but I can get TY's here in the US from Meritline or Supermediastore whichever has the cheaper deal at the time I need to order them. As to TY rebranded DVD's last I saw was some 16x Sony's a few years ago. Before that it was some 4x Maxells.

The only Fuji MIJ's I've seen were some 50 packs of CDR's. 4 packs on the shelf & I took them all. Great discs by the way!!
