hey.

i am trying to burn a DVD with VOB files on CloneDVD2 (latest version) while using AnyDVD (not the latest i don' think, using this version - 6.5.0.7). I burnt two copies and it just plays the opening trailer and then stops. This is a fanedit btw with a trailer tacked at the beginning. I chose the "Clone DVD" option btw to burn this. Am i supposed to use the "Write existing data" option under the DVD movie files choice? I'm assuming that's my problem but what's weird is that i checked the files on the two burnt dvd copies i did for this vob files set and it showed all the video files that were in the original file folder (with the exception of a file called "VIDEO_TS" (232 Kb) (the VOB File didn't burn i don't mean the IFO file titled "VIDEO_TS"). Can someone confirm if i have to choose "Write existing data" option to burn this DVD correctly? I don't want to have to waste more blanks cause I don't have any money on hold to buy more and i only have 3 blanks left and I need those for other stuff I gotta burn. I may sound like a noob but I'm actually generally familiar with this kinda stuff. It's just been a while since I last burned anything with CloneDVD2 hehhe :P.

thanks for any help one can provide.

Clone DVD - Clone a DVD including all titles and menu's

Then you want to browse and find your file. Select VIDEO_TS

Afterward you can select which video files you want to remove or keep it whole.

6.5.0.7 is fairly new, hasn't been an problems for DVD as I noticed for a little while. Think most of the updates are for Blu-ray and HD-DVD.

hi,

hmm strange. cause that's what i chose originally - "Clone DVD" option. i did exactly what you explain that first time and both tries i did with 2 blanks the opening trailer would start and then the dvd would stop. tried the dvd player on both my computer and my xbox 360. both stopped at the same point. does anyone know why this is doing this? or is it just a bad download? no one else seems to be complaining in the thread on which it was posted on the torrent site i got it from.

yeah my anydvd is a DVD/Blu-ray/HD-DVD version. also known as AnyHD i think.

Make sure all files are check marked, should be automatically.

Strange that it only plays opening trailer. Looking at the bottom of the disc does it look the right amount of space is being taken up?

I think an error would have popped up in CloneDVD if there was an error.
