Cannot read DVD9 disc

Hi all,

I have problem reading DVD9 disc(dvdr) using my SAMSUNG SH-S223F DVDROM. May i know if this is the problem of the hardware of the driver?

The problem persists even i have updated the rom with the latest firmware.

Please advise.

Hi,

being as you are in the shrink forum, aare you saying that your rom can't read this disc or that you cannot back up the disc with shrink ?

My rom can't read the disc.

Hi again,

try another drive or another pc with the same disc. If it can read the disc, then maybe it is your drive that is the problem.
