wii cios installation problem!

hi, i just converted my jap wii 3.2J to USA version 3.2U using HBC & regionchanger.then i wanted to softmod my wii but when i tried to install cios rev7...it gave me a "installing title error" and i cant load the back-up loader channel because of this. do i have to downgrade my firmware or do ineed to uninstall my previous cios in order to load the cios rev7? if yes,how do i uninstall it and what folder do i have to put it inside my sd card. thanks for your advice & help!

first off whats the point of converting your region for? Normally most of us convert the games to our systems region. Like a pal game for an ntsc system. Cios rev7 should be straight foward though, i suggest you try an older verion of cios first then install the cios rev 7. Use the cios installer / uninstaller for this . The revisions themselves are on the root of the SD card in WAD format. But you need to stick the revision program inside the apps folder and that should be a .dol file.

i converted my jap wii to USA wii coz i cant understand the menu. i downloaded the cios uninstaller but when i put it on the root of my sd card it cant be found,i also tried putting it inside the apps folder but still cant see it. what folder do i have to create for my wii to detect it? thanks for helping.

make sure its not elf and dol also make sure you know what im talking about.

Cios uninstaller rev7 is what you are looking for. This file should be .dol in your apps folder and in the root of your sd card make sure you have the correct wad file.

-cIOS36rev7 folder containing the .dol file of this
-cios installer

in the root of the sd card
-IOS36-64-v1042.wad
