So a wire connected to my spindle to pcb inside my lie-on drive tore.
And i did not get the DVD key. So i was wondering if i took my pcb off of my current drive and hooked it to a new drive if it would work. Isnt the key only stored in the pcb? I dunno just a thought. I would replce the wire but its got four complicated tips that i probably wouldnt be able to solder and the other side of the wire is plug-in. Thx

if you were to put it inside of a nother lite-on drive then yes it should work without having to do anything to it.
