************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
If anyone who has any knowledge of this particular problem or flashing in general, I would much appreciate your help. Thanks in advance to anyone who is able to help.

Wow not a clue maybe someone with a big brain will chime in. I recommend trying DosFlash32. I've had problems with iprep before (sun, moon and stars were not properly aligned) but it is still my all else fails way but DosFlash32 is so much easier.

It does actually but it seems to be quite complicating, can you post a link on how to properly use it? Thank you for the replies.

stealthdf is right.
Make sure you have MS Framework v. 2.0 installed. You can easily check if you do or not by going to Add/Remove programs (forgot what it is in Vista, but it's in the same place).
That's an error one usually gets if you don't have the Framework that is used for the new MS .NET development like for C#, VB.NET, ASP, etc.
You can get it here:

I have and the only problem I have with it is all the tutorials I have seen were written before iPrep v.008 was released therefore they explain how to use iPrep v.006 not v.008. Do you happen to know where I can find a tutorial that explains how to use v.008 as it is noticeably different.

i had the same problem when i started modding, tried using v 007 but there were no tuts explaining it. everyone says to use textbook but it is out of date and just junk. so i had to figure it out on my own that time and after that i just started using v006 cause even though there are newer versions they dont seem to be supported at all by anyone.

Indeed. As you have learned the ways of flashing on your own, do you have any advice to offer?

I can try but i am still having the same problem as u in not finding support for any version of iprep other than v006 which i am still using. i didnt even try to use version 008 cause i didnt want to go thru that bs again and i saw no mention of anyone else using it.
The only things i can think of would be to run windows update getting anything that mentions .net framework. Might be a good idea to just update everything it gives u just to have ur pc up to date. Are u running the latest service pack such as SP3 for XP? if not i would say definetely get that and then try again. I would uninstall iprep totally before doing the updates and then after they are done just install iprep again after a reboot between the updates and installing i prep.
this would be a longshot but sometimes a simple reboot can staighten things out. so if u havent rebooted sinceu installed iprep give it a shot cause it cant hurt and might save some time.
have another desktop? if so then try with it.
if nothing seems to work u may have to go with another method of flashing, but i have never used anything but iprep so far.

dBen 1234567 12345
dLit 1234567 12345
to dump your original FW....
fSam 1234567 12345
fBen 1234567 12345

Error is really straightforward (there's a surprise for anything to do with M$ crap)
First exception error generates all the rest.. the .xml config file needs editing (line1 pos3) to say "1" or "true" instead of most likely blank or false XD
so search for system.xml and open in notepad, then edit as instructed and try again.
