Final Fantasy VII freezes

I'm currently on Disk two of Final Fantasy VII on my psp, and whenever I kill Diamond Weapon, I get my exp and stuff, then the screen goes black. I had no trouble for disk one, and disk two is the one that kept freezing at cutscenes, so i had to play through some parts on my computer. Maybe it's because i used two different converters, for disk one i used Popstation GUI v2.2.0.1 and for disk two i used PSX2PSP because all popstation created eboots weren't working besides the disk one eboot. Can someone please tell me why none of my popstation eboots are working correctly (whenever i start a game, it says "the game cannot be started, the data is corrupt"), and I've tried the game images that i burned on an emulator, and they work fine. I am running 5.00m33-4 custom firmware. Btw, I own all of my games, none are downloaded off of the internet.

Do you have popsloader if you dont then install it on your psp and try running the game then. if you do have popsloader then then try changing your pops version from the one you are already running.
