Is 8GB SD Card compatible with Wii Key Backup?

At the momment im using a 2GB SD Sandisk card to back up my Wii games, I put the SD card in and out a few times to finish the complete copy. I was just wondering before i buy one, could i possibly use an 8gb Sd Sandisk Card to have the complete copy in one file rather than have 3 files and join them up. Can i use an 8gb SD Sandisk Card?
