How's your math??

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclic_redundancy_check

It's an error checking code. Nothing to worry about and absolutely normal.

DVD Shrink is unable to read the disc. You will need other software such as AnyDVD or DVDFab.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

dialysis is right on as usual (sure am glad he is back), but to elaborate a little more since I am here. DVD Shrink is no longer updated and cannot handle some of the newer copy protection schemes. Therefore, as dialysis stated, you need to use a more up to date ripping program such as AnyDVD ($ but 21 day free trial) or DVDFab HD Decrypter (free).

Hi Ginny,

you might like this method from a friend of ours here at AD

Jo

From 1bonehead

1) decrypt to HDD with dvdfab HD (free version) Or use paid for version
2) process files (all) with fixvts
3) shrink files with dvd shrink, output as iso/image to HDD
4) burn iso/image file with IMgburn

all programs are free

Imgburn, free from
http://www.imgburn.com

fixvts, free from

dvdfabHD free from

dvd shrink 3.2.0.15

I kept having the same problem with that.. dvdshrink just plain sucks..

use dvdfab.. its the best..

Oh btw .. dvdfab.. is really bad at reading scratched dvd's.. 1 little scratch and dvdfab trys to enable pathplayer then aborts at 70%

Why does dvdfab abort at 70% and not anywhere else (say 20,30,40,50%)

This does not mean that there is a problem with the program. It means your drive cannot read the information where the scratch is. Some drives are lousy readers. If it's a lite scratch, there should be no problem.
It's good practice to clean all discs (new or old) before ripping.

I just wanted to clear that up for the other readers. I doubt Rahstyles would understand.
