I really could use some advice.

I want to get my drive burning playable games on iXtreme 1.5 but every time I get a successful burn I put it in my 360 and I get the dirty disk error

I do the book type, I use verbatims... Im so stumped

right now my burner is a GSA-S10N with the A103 firmware on it.

If you guys could help me out here and perhaps lead me to a modded firmware or something that will give me successful working burns I would appreciate it.

Have you tried the games your burning on anyone else's Xbox?
Or
Has any burnt Games ever worked onit.If so Could be laser is going bad,if not then could mean you did a bad flash.

Also make sure your burning with IMG Burn with speed at 2.4x for starters,I believe if you open the small file(dvd file) in img burn that is with your Iso file,That it booktypes for you .

Goodluck

other burn images work on my drive. i set the book type and layerbreak fine.

they used to barly work when i had iXtreme 1.4, and i mean i would have to be restarting my xbox a few times to get them to work. but now they do not at all. I think since I updated to iXtreme 1.5 there is another check that i am forgetting to do, even though I have read multiple guides. has anyone done it with their Mac Book Pro or their Dell M1330? I have the slim-slot drive that they put in both

The games that played on 1.4 should play on the 1.5 firmware. It sounds like you either have a laser going bad, or when you updated the firmware it went bad.
Something else you can try is to clean the laser, I had to do this a few weeks back,Take the drive out in clean the laser with some Rubbing Aloc and a Q-tip.The prob I had was diffrent tho my xbox would not read a orig game even brand new it wouldn't, after I cleaned it the Xbox started reading orig games fine.

Check and see if orig games play, then a dvd movie and make sure your flash went good.If the games don't play and a movie does. The first thing I would look at instead of wasteing Disk is the flash.

I use a macbook pro. I use imgburn with VMWare Fusion Windows.

Where are you getting your images? You need to make sure you are using abgx360 to verify and/or fix your images.

I tried using an external DVD DL drive using my macbook pro, but my burned discs always gave me open tray or dirty disc errors, but I wasn't using a pioneer or anything, just a Lacie. I've been using my matshita internal drive as of late at 2.4 speed with the layer break set and have been having success. If you use your macbook pro drive you shouldn't have to set a book type either, just make sure you select the .dvd file in imgburn, set the layer break (which should be set automatically anyway), and then burn at 2.4 speed.

Are your Verbs made in India or Singapore?

I would try burning games with a Pioneer Burner on a pc. Only use verbatims from singapore. If that doesn't resolve your issue. You will need to adjust your POT calibration. Always try different media before adjusting the POT.

any idea why I would be getting the DDE in this situation of converting xbox 1 to xbox 360 compatible?

I'm using an xbox1 iso from itchycats. I then use the universal serial sectors(also from itchycats) to patch the game with mulleter and create dvd9 iso. I also find the layout from (can't remember the site) and patch that in too. the image burns and actually loads on 360 flashed with 1.2xtreme but then when the game starts I get the dde. I'm using verbs at 2.4x with imgburn. my hypothesis is that the iso wasn't ripped with kreon drive, but I wondered if anyone else had a clue
