I haven't made a backup before but I've tried twice now to backup 'Eternal Sonata' and while they started, got to main menu fine when I tried to start a game it just freezes. If I try to install to the HDD the first one gets to 11% before I got a dirty disc error the second to 14%.

I'm using the right layerbreak with Imgburn, have it set as a DVD-ROM for DVD+R DL (which is Verbatim brand aswell) and burned at a 2.4x

Is there something I could be missing or any other helpful info?

did you download the .ISO or make it yourself

did you verify it with ABGX 360 GUI using autofix level 3

Just did that, everything came back valid/correct. Yes this is a downloaded backup.

which copy do you have i see two on BCG ... one from DNL and one from CCCLX...

perhaps you should try whichever you don't have right now to see if that improves thing... as long as the region restrictions don't mess with ya

I have the DnL one, has to be PAL region. Guess I could download something else and see if that works.

reading the comments on BCG it seems the DNL release is the worse of the two ... i see a few comments concerning dirty disk errors even when using sing/verbs... also the xbox crashing when they try to load it...

but some people have no problems with it so who knows.

just my experience here, i have crashed a few times playing POP and i was using memerox dl discs. i know y0ou are already using verbatim but are they Singapore discs? my box only likes Singapore verbatim discs. I also do not burn on my laptop anymore due to hi falure rate from heat, and i use my HP desktop with HP1020 drive on auto with imageburn and never have any more freezing issues.

Just a update I tried a different game and it appears to work perfect, guess that Eternal Sonata image is just dodgey, cheers for help :D
