I got 2 friends that bought the wii a couple of months ago, one 4 months ago and the other one on december, do you think WiiKey 1 will fit into them or not? Does anyone have a NEW table for WiiKey installation like which ones you can and whichones you cant? Cause they both bought the WiiKey 1, but I am not sure if it will work on their wiis... please send me something to know if I am right or wrong, like a Serial Table to see which one will work.

They should be using Wiikey 2 if one was bought 4 months ago and the other in December.

All you can do is open the Wii up and check the drive chip on the Wii Drive. If it is DMS, D2A, or D2B then Wiikey 1 or Wiikey 2 can be used.

If it says D2C or D2E then Wiikey 2 should be used. But more then likely it is D2C or D2E. Which means they will need to send the Wiikey 1 back and get the Wiikey 2.

They can always softmod it as well which means they don't need a Modchip. They install a cIOS and use a boot loader to boot the backups.
