I have tried repeatidley to try to back up 18 Year Old Virgin it fails at 39% every time it made it to 40% once. I am running AnyDvD 6.5.1.8 And cloneDvD And I also Gave DVDFab5 A shot but the same failure every time no matter what anyone have a little advice to lend to a very confused soul???

Sounds like a bad disc. Try cleaning it off with something non abrasive in a non circular motion.
If you have another drive try that one - some are better than other at ripping 'problem' discs.
Still failing then best bet is exchange it for a new one.

edit: also try doing moving only if you haven't already.

I tried all of that I think you might have hit on the bad disc thing and tried it in every computer that I own even my poor little under powered laptop. Yet nothing but failures.

I would definitely go with bad press/disc. There is no way they would waste special encryption on a direct to dvd release.
