Issues Converting .MDF to .ISO with MagicIso

Pretty much as the title states. I have a game on my computer I'd like to convert from .MDF to .ISO, but MagicISO is frozen at 0 in the conversion. I went to <tools<convert, chose the game file/output form of ISO and output location, it opens up the loading bar and stays frozen at 0. Any clues?

don't convert. get alcohol 120% and burn the .mdf with that.

This file is going onto my PS2 HDD. Why would I want to burn it and waste a CD I don't currently possess? My fault for not stating so earlier, but I'd prefer to convert to .ISO instead.
