Burning wii games from previous burns

I have backup one one my Wii games, but the original disk will no longer play. I tried dumping the copy of the original but this does not seem to work. Does or has anyone any ideas or know what to do here plese.
So this is what i have the original disk has broken(scratched to death) but i do have a backup. What i need to know is how do i back this game up as i have tried to dump it and when i burn it with Img burner i have no success. I have image burner , Rawdump and i have an LG8161b.
