My 360 got the RROD and after it got fixed it just wont read anything anymore for some reason.

someone told me you need to rotate the lense slightly so it can catch but if you overdue it you risk messin the whole thing up. So thats risky.

If anyone can help or even give direction on fixing this problem that would be some cool beans!

Sorry,

I got someone locally to fix the RROD and the system cant even read original games.

All it does is bring me to the 'my xbox' welcome screen with the gaming profile and media stuff.

Any thoughts on fixing this problem? Step by Step walkthroughs are always helpful but Ill take whatever I can get on this one.

Thanks

You should try a new drive. There cheap on ebay. 30-40$. All you have to do is put your key on the new one and your good to go.

Thanks for the input but thats more of a last resort move, id rather not do all that if its just a matter of tweaking the optical drive somehow.

The only question is how to go about doing that without messin anything up. (If thats the problem)

Anyone have experience with this?
