i am having alot of trouble with decoding and AVI. I can decode the video but i can not get the audio decoded. all the programs i have used say the audio is unsupported format.
PLEASE HELP

You're missing some audio codecs, probably Microsoft's latest WMA codecs or so.

It's not called decoding, it's called encoding process :-) Decode == basically playing the file. Encode == changing a file from a format to another by compressing it.

Anyway, there are several replys to same subject in these forums, please read them to obtain the URLs and full guides. Anyway, you need to have TMPGEnc encoder (you can find it from our software section) to encode the AVI file into MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 format.

hey drD, i have the tmpgenc, and it only excepts the video,not the audio to encode,any ideas??
