I just bought a new nyko battery back with cable from ebay. It said it was new but an open box. When I got it, installed it and turned on the xbox 360 everything seemed fine until I needed to move to the left or right to pick which scene I wanted to start in gears of war 2. All of a sudden, the selection box goes to the right. I tried to move it to the left and it keeps on going to the right.
I then switched it out with my other battery, turned on the controller, and it started working fine.
So after, I took the good battery out and plugged the usb cord to the controller with out a battery. Everything working fine. So again, I unpluged the controller and installed the nyko battery, it goes to the right.
Even with the nyko battery plugged and the wire to the controller, it still went to the right.
The only way it worked was if I had the battery unplugged, then keeping it plugged in install the nyko battery(basically just lifted the connector on the control a bit to fit the battery in). Once I did that, it worked fine.
Any suggestions to what it can be. Ever heard of this issue. I emailed the seller to see what this can be.
