I've used DVD Flick for quite awhile. Typically, I load in an .avi file and convert it to DVD files - you know, with the AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS folders, and then I burn the DVD with Nero. Never had a problem. Recently, I transcoded an .avi file and ended up with an .m2v file in the output folder. I didn't realize this until I tried to drag the folder into Nero and an error message popped up. I tried playing back the .m2v file with my VLC player to see if anything was there. Only image showed up; no sound. I did not have "burn ISO image" checked in DVD Flick, and I put all the settings the way I usually do. How do I get DVD Flick to provide me a burnable DVD set of files?

Yo have to look at the DVD flick log. An error or problem
may show up there.

Are you saying that because I got an .m2v file as output, there is necessarily an error?

I'm not familiar with error logs and such, so I don't know how to find it let alone know what I'm looking for. Suggestions?

Most all-in-one tools follow the logical steps:
1) create the audio (ac3) and video (m2v)
2) create menu
3) author them all together in the video_ts folder (IFO,BUP, VOB)
4) create ISO if required.

If all you get is m2v, it suggest something went wrong, and the later
steps aborted.
Open the DVD flick installation folder and look for the log.
It may be necessary to post it in the DVDFLICK forums for proper
analysis, unless something is obvious.
