Just bought an xbox 360 HD DVD attachment. Problem is it did not have the disc for the software and installation. GOt this cheap from TK Maxx, so yes got a receipt but a part missing.

Can anyone tell me if i can down load this info anywhere or do i need to contact xbox to send me the disc.

IF i can download this info how would i put it on the xbox from here without it being on a disc to place in tray.

according to instructions yes, but without the disc it doesnt seem to work properly. We have gone onto dashboard and gone to the HD DVD icon/page but when you click open/eject on the remote it will only open the xbox not the dvd.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">HD DVD player, so assuming without the disk with the software on it wont read the HD dvd player
So Thats why i need to know if there is a link where i can download this software

You don't need any software to run the hd dvd player...Just plug it into a usb port on the system and it should run just fine. If you're getting any errors it's the drive, I have bought 2 of these and there is no software!

there was software pre NXE.

i haven't had to redo anything after installing NXE but it could be because i already installed it prior, but i haven't tried using it post NXE either.

comes inside the box w/ the HD-DVD Player and King Kong, in it's own paper sleeve....picture::

dunno, but i bought mine long time ago....oh and it's ntsc region 1, but i doubt that makes a difference....you might not even need them w/ the new NXe and everything, but i dunno...

thanks for replys peeps. Sorry not had any emails to say there were replies. We ll i gave up the box mentioned all contents and it did state that there should have been an installation disk. Anyways the xbox would not recongised the HD player PLUS the button did not work to eject the tray. so gave up and sent it back. This was just an xbox 360 HD player. But after going on the xbox site they stopped making these. which is probably why they retailed at £129.99 and tk maxx were selling for £19.99 so took it back and got a full refund stating that a part was missing. Apparently within a few minutes someone else bought it. oh well
but thanks for your support and sorry it took so long. I must check that my email with AD is uptodate
