Hey, I have been trying to get this game - http://www.consolespot.net/forums/psp-ne...ersion-2-a.html - to work on my psp for quite some time. As I said, I have CFW 5.00 and it won't work. When I try to open it up it comes up "The game could not be started (80020148)".

Any ideas on what is wrong?

I've been having the same problem with Crisis Core FF VII. Here is what I've managed to find:

Go into recovery mode (turn off the psp, hold down the right trigger then turn on the psp while holding the right trigger)

Go into advanced -> advanced configuration -> make sure both options are disabled. Once they are disabled go back to the main recovery menu.

Go into Configuration and under "UMD Mode" make sure that it is set for "No UMD".

Supposedly, this has worked for a lot of people, but it has not worked for me. Give it a shot, it might just work for you.
