My brother just bought a Modded 360 from his friend. It has the new dash, and can play games burned off a disk, but I dont know anyway to detect what flash he had done, and the kid who he bought it from has no idea either.

I just wanted to read up on what he can and cant do, and what options he has, but I don't see anyway of detecting what flash he has without taking it apart and looking at the hardware. It a white with a 12 gig hard drive.

no i don't know any way to tell... its probably 1.4 ... or 1.41

only thing he can do is play burnt games, or install them to the hard drive and play them from there, but the disc still has to be in the drive.
