Can't uninstall VIA 6421. Help !!!

im trying to uninstall the via 6421 drivers but when i do and reboot, windows vista automatically insalls the drivers. ive deleted the drivers from the computer but when i check the folder again after reboot, the files just magically reappear. what should i do?

Go to www.drivercleaner.net their software should clear that up for you.

Disable raid in the device manager and then try uninstalling the drivers.

did you go into your windows system 32 and delete them there also? cause you have to do both

yeah i did both but the drivers just magically reappear. i dont think this can be done on vista. in my drivers folder, i have both the port io drivers and the raid drivers but only the vista drivers are being used no the port io.
