Hi, having a problem with father in laws box, the box worked fine initially, had the new firmware on then started to go very crackly. Brought it home and did a factory reset then put older firmware on. Plugged it into my cable and picked up the channels no problems. Took it to his house pluged it in got sky sports for about 5 seconds then nothing except waiting for code update. So I deleted all the chanels and scanned again and still nothing. Brought it back home did the same again with the new firmware but still nothing. Picks all the channels up but just stays in "waiting for code update". Can anyone suggest why it works in my area and not his. We both live
in the same town but different areas but access the same area for cable. One thing he is still on analogue if that makes any difference.
