Hi,

I have installed the box, and am only getting 40 odd channels as opposed to the 100+ channels I was getting on another television. I have reset to factory settings, but am still no better off - any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Midlands area

thanks

Ok, when you say installed the box, is it a new box, what model is it, what firmware is on it, are they only free to air channels you are getting, who is your service provider? Do you mean the other channels are saying scrambled, or you are not getting them at all?

is it a new box - No, it was installed and working before
what model is it - Super Box
what firmware is on it - unsure - only purchase late last year
who is your service provider - Chorus
Do you mean the other channels are saying scrambled - I am getting both scrambled channels and loads of no signal channels.

I have the same make and model box installed in another room working fine with 87 channels (the best we can get at our location.

Thanks.

Press Menu and go down to System Information OK and post what it say's - if you you have never flashed it then it would appear it needs updating, that is what evastar is trying to find out.

EDIT:- It is Starview The Box that you have and you require the Bin File 457, which is posted down the page - also available in Eamo's FTA Library.

The system info is as follows:

APIVER:4:54e-E
BOOT Ver:7.0
15 October 2007

Some channels come up - green bar is full - but no sound or picture. Others are still bad/scrambled which says being updated. All I get now is RTE1

Then it is Starview 2 The Box, so this is the Firmware you require updating to for that model. >>>>>>>>>>
