I have a ripped HD DVD file on my hard disk which i couldnt play.Im trying to convert to a media format that i can play with Windows Media Player. I have Blu-ray disc drive but couldn't find supported software to run dvd.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">HD DVD file..What option i have to run the file.?

HOWTO: Convert HD-DVD to MKV/MP4 for archiving

Step by Step instructions

It's a pretty long process... especially encoding the video. It does produce some fantastic quality video's though. I had just been ripping my HD dvd's with Anydvd HD and then creating an iso with Img Burn. Load the Iso with Daemon Tools and play with Power DVD.
