My ps3 basically stopped working on me. All of a sudden i turn on my ps3 and it wont go past the starting screen with the smoke. If any one has any suggestions without sending it in, please let me know

The best help i can offer with the info you've given is
a: Change your thread title to something more descriptive, before a mod closes the thread.
b: Give us a bit more info...what happens when you switch on the PS3? Does it switch off, freeze, any error messages etc?
